We welcome all CTC members. Non-members are also welcome to join us, but after a few rides with us, we'll expect them to become members of the CTC.

Non-members should download and complete a ride entry form and give it to the leader before the ride.

Riders should download our Guidelines for Club Rides, especially if they haven’t ridden in a group before.

Rides and club nights

Moderate to fast  pace rides

Sunday rides from Cosham with stops for elevenses, lunch and tea.
A ride for the fit cyclist. Average speeds are brisk. The group rides in a tight formation.

Medium pace rides

Saturday and Wednesday rides from Havant with stops for elevenses, lunch and sometimes tea. Average speed is 11-12 mph; if you're slower, someone will wait for you.

The rides are informal and riders are free to join and leave the ride at various points. Some ride directly to the coffee stop

Thursday evening rides in the summer from Havant. Destination is a pub for a drink or a meal.

A pleasant Sunday morning ride, at a modest pace and in good company every other Sunday. Various start points.

Tandem rides

Sunday rides once a month. Riders meet for elevenses then ride about 15 miles to lunch. Medium pace but slower up hills and faster down. Solos also welcome.

Club nights

These take place on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of the month during the winter at the Bedhampton social hall, Bedhampton Road, Havant starting at 7.45. £1.50 entrance, including tea or coffee and biscuits.

Lunch stops are normally near cafes or pubs. Some riders, particularly in summer, take a picnic lunch.

You don’t have to ride all day. There are always riders who return from the elevenses stop and who will accompany newcomers.
